Creating an awesome thread for soil - a jumping point for a lot of resources!

Online Garden Master Course
  • This is a recording of the first Certified Garden Master Course held at Wheaton Labs. The Garden Master Course teaches organic, veganic, and no-till permaculture gardening techniques. The course focuses on soil and habitat building for beneficial organisms, and emphasizes systems thinking for gardeners and farmers. It covers managing relationships in the garden, rather than just growing crops.

  • World Domination Gardening Movie - Ponds, Swales and Hugelkultur
  • Through these three movies, you will not only see two large scale food systems be created in just a few days, but you will also acquire the logic behind these tactics. Whether you are in a cold climate or a warm one, you can gain methods that will work for you.

  • Hugelkultur Microdocumentary
  • While the full 3-DVD set is for urban gardeners as well as people with acreage, and the full 3-DVD set will contain far more information on hugelkultur, this micro documentary will be focused on gardening and have no focus on projects with larger acreage.

  • Hugelkultur article at Richsoil.com
  • The good old Hugelkultur article written by Paul Wheaton. Good starting point for diving into all things hugelkultur!

Something to think about,  I could do the online course.  I'm sure the in-person classes would be so much fun, butttttttt, it snowed in Montana this week, no place for a southern boy!!

    Peace
